Optional meet & greet gathering at the High Horse in Amherst, 6:00 pm.

Saturday, June 1st

8:30 am • Doors open, registration and breakfast (breakfast courtesy of Paragus IT)
9:15 • Welcome, brief introduction and overview of the weekend
9:30 • Hackathon bootcamp (participatory presentation on project planning strategies for all experience levels)
10:30 • Challenge presentations from community partners
11:00 • Team formation/start hacking!
12:30 • Lunch (courtesy of Left-Click Advanced)
3:00 • Stretching break (optional – step away from the computer!)
5:30 • Group check-in
6:00 • Dinner

Sunday, June 2nd

9:00 – 12:30 • Work time to finalize project pitches

12:30 • Presentations start
3:30 • Closing remarks, next steps, and wrap up

The event will kick off Saturday, June 1st in the morning at UMass Amherst with brief presentations to get you inspired and introduce you to the challenges. Then we’ll organize into teams and start hacking!

You’ll have the rest of the day Saturday and Sunday morning to work on your project. We’ll have talented designers, developers, and other experts available on site to help and answer questions.

Sunday afternoon, teams will present their projects to fellow hackers and a panel of experts and leaders to get feedback.

We’ll provide meals and have snacks available throughout the weekend to minimize interrupting your hard work.
